The District Red Cross Society, Panchkula is running as an Old Age Home in Sec-15, Panchkula. Haryana Urban Development Authority, Panchkula has provided a building to the District Office of sector-15 Panchkula. This two-storey building with four dormitories with attached bathrooms, a multi-purpose hall, kitchen, physiotherapy and yoga room has become a home to the elderly. We have been running this Old Age Home since 2004, which started with one resident, Mr. Kashiram, from Dehradoon, Uttarakhand. In this home, boarding & lodging and others facilities are being provided to the inmates without any charge.
Our Old Age Home has been adjudged best Old Age Home in the State of Haryana by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Haryana Chandigarh with a cash prize also.
First Aid Training
We Provide First Aid Training
The District Red Cross Society/St.John Ambulance Association is providing First Aid Training to Industry Workers, General Public, Drivers ,Conductors ,Students of schools, Colleges and other different institutions etc.Every year we provide maximum training to Industry Workers, General Public, Drivers ,Conductors ,Students of schools, Colleges by our trained professionals and highly Experienced trainers.First Aid Training should be necessary for every person of the society to our daily routine.

Our Blood Donation Services
The District Red Cross Society, Panchkula organized a Blood Donation Camp for the Blood Bank of PGI Chd , GMCH Sec-32 Chd and General Hospital, Sec-6 Panchkula.
During this period, 86 Blood Donation Camps were organized and more than 7650 units of Blood was collected. These camps were conducted with the help of the team of Doctors from the hospitals mentioned above. The Society also arranged refreshments for the blood donors and gave away badges along with certificates to them. An amount of Rs. 96,929/- has been spent for the promotion of Blood donation drives.
